How do we support SDG 4 Quality Education?

Quality sustainability education in modern society has not yet reached all corners of the globe. Due to greenwashing and the exploitation of sustainability know-how by businesses through aggressive marketing strategies, there is a great deal of ambiguity surrounding climate action, sustainability, decarbonization, and what truly works. Even if they are interested, many people cannot afford to attend quality sustainability educational courses and degrees offered by elite universities. So does that mean the people who take take sustainability education can’t contribute to climate action? Can’t they build careers or businesses or create jobs that aid in climate mitigation and adaption? Is our educational system fostering elitism in climate action?
